Take Another Little Piece of My Art
"Take Another Little Piece of My Art" was conceived as a space for dialogue between different art forms, where photography and visual art engage with cinema through curated screenings, intimate encounters with the creators of these images, and, above all, this year’s exhibition dedicated to Beat Presser.
A Dialogue Between Photography, Art, and Film
A photographer and director of photography, renowned for his long-standing artistic collaboration with Werner Herzog (particularly on the legendary set of *Fitzcarraldo*), Presser will be the beating heart of this edition. The new format, “Take another little piece of my ART,” is dedicated to him: a triptych of events—including an exhibition of his works, a masterclass, and a series of screenings—curated by Valeria Diaz Granada and Simon Baker, in collaboration with rossogranada.
The title of the initiative plays on the famous song and turns its meaning on its head: here, we’re not asking for a piece of the heart, but a fragment of a gaze—that masterful gaze of Presser and great cinema—to take away, cherish, and return.
